Gone Girl: A Novel
This book was not at all what I was expecting - less a suspense thriller (though it has those elements) than a psychological study of two very damaged people. Who ultimately deserve each other, but I had more sympathy for one than the other.I can't really say much about the plot without giving too much away, but Gone Girl was smoothly and well written, kept me guessing in places, and had a shocking ending. I will be looking for more of Flynn's books.
