I got this book on a recommendation I read on Twitter - I hadn't read a mystery/procedural in a long time, and was intrigued. Just finished it last night, and it was great. Very good writing, deeply complex characters, lots of dark angst and psychologically twisted minds. I can't say too much without giving away plot details - and that would be wrong with a mystery - but I highly recommend it, and am looking forward to reading more. This is the first in a series, set in Dublin and featuring a detective named Rob Ryan.
