Dreams from My Father: A Story of Race and Inheritance

And I'm glad I did. This is a good book, the story of a man trying to find himself in a confusing world. Obama has a good writer's voice, although he occasionally gets a bit too intellectual about emotional issues - a defence of sorts, I'm sure. But he tells his life honestly, as he's lived it, with all his flaws and shortcomings, along with his hopes and dreams. I remain convinced he is a man to admire, an honest man, one who cares deeply about things. And I'm more glad than ever that I voted for him.
Now - I really want to read his "Audacity of Hope" and the book he wrote for his daughters, "Of Thee I Sing." And I look forward to the books he will write once his presidency is over - I hope!
